ABOUT

The Interventions Unit’s key role is rendering family preservation services using a developmental approach which focuses on “building resilience within children and families”. The unit’s main goal is to render prevention and early interventions services to reduce the necessity for statutory services.

 

  • 298 Caregivers benefitted from parenting workshop
  • Growing with Gratitude family day-26 Families including 73 children attended
  • Early intervention services rendered to 107 children who are presenting with behaviour challenges
  • Family preservation services rendered to 50 children who were returned to their parents under supervision by the children’s court
